Another nearly unbelievably great day to ride—when I began, about 9:15, I enjoyed bright sunshine, little to no wind, and low humidity, with a temperature of 66°. The temperature climbed to 76° during my ride, and everything else remained constant.
I rode the Packard/Platt Square (13.9 miles today, with a lap in our complex at the end), in a time of 1:35.
When I got home from dropping Michelle off at school, I had to change into my cycling shoes, so I turned the TV on for a minute—and the Today show was giving their first outdoor concert on the plaza wince the onset of COVID 15 months ago. This featured the British band Coldplay, which is one of the most famous bands in the world.
However, I had never heard them, and as immersed in music as I am, I felt this needed to be remedied, so during my ride I listened to the Spotify playlist "This Is Coldplay." All went fine for over a half hour, but then I stumbled upon a song replete with a prodigious amount of profanity, so I switched it over to my Devotional Music playlist to act as an aural and mental palate cleanser.
