This morning I hoped to ride my 20-mile round trip to Dexter (Baker Rd.), and consequently i left early (7:30). But when I got out to the trike, I saw that both my power supplies (for the phone and for the auxiliary battery) were low, so I came back in to plug them in and charge up. A little over an hour later, I went back out, and while they had charged up considerably, both were short of fully charged, and because of this, I decided to settle for a shorter ride. (It could be quite disastrous if I ran out of power while still some miles from home.)
So I rode the Packard/Platt Square (13.6 miles) in 1:52, and saw Jim Alvey again today, too. It was a slow, but determined, ride—on a very gray day (69°). Fall is coming ...
