2021 mileage: 4093.2
During this afternoon's ride on our stationary bike, I watched my all-time favorite movie: On Golden Pond. I believe I admire this 1981 film (released when I was 24) so highly because of two primary factors:
1) Its thematic emphasis on aging, family relations, and the difference between generations—a subject which has interested me, and to which I've been able to relate, all my life, having a dad who was just a few weeks shy of 50 when I was born;
2) Its masterful musical score.
This gave me a ride of 24.5 miles in 1:48
