Today I had lunch with Doug Tidd, and when we were done, I confessed to him, "Despite the (gorgeous) weather, I'm awfully tempted to take the afternoon off and work on music stuff—but I know that it's a slippery slope." One day can easily grow to more. So, even though I didn't want to, I came home from lunch and pushed myself to get out there, riding the Platt/Packard Square (13.5 miles) in 1:32. When I started at 1:00, sunny skies and a temperature of 70° greeted me, and that climbed to 72° during the ride. So, yeah - I'm tired, but I'm glad I rode.
