This has been an odd day. Due to a communications snafu between Michelle and me, I thought I had a colonoscopy this morning. So I fasted all day yesterday, and went through the prep for it—and then when we drove to Huron Gastro early this morning, it was with both surprise and dismay that we learned I was not on their list.
So I came home, enjoyed having some breakfast and a low-key morning, and then late morning I climbed on the stationary bike and rode 1:10 (14.7 miles) while watching the first half of The Natural (staying with my recent theme of baseball movies).
This also put me over halfway to my goal of 400 miles for the month of September, which I'm riding in the Great Cycle Challenge (a fundraiser aimed at combatting childhood cancer).
